Accrete, echoing the natural act of material gathering, reveals light shaped through slow formation.

The Accrete explores how linear fluting softens the light, while its curved and folded double-wall structure gathers it into gentle peaks and lows. Its surfaces seem to form slowly over time, echoing geological and astronomical accretion. Composed of low-resolution, robot-extruded modules that rotate at each transition, the form shifts as you move around it — a quiet accumulation of parts becoming a single, continuous whole. Working within the constraints of our robot lends the piece a technical, retro-futuristic character, balanced by a warm, radiant glow. A tactile brass button at the deepest point of the top module controls dimming and power.
