Changing Vase
Dirk van der Kooij, 2011
Recycled plastic
Made in Zaandam, NL
The hills and valleys of the extruded Changing vase serve to distort its contents: as distant petals and stems fracture shyly through the printed matter. Undulating plastic ribbons dip and stretch to form the amorphous pod, whose personality changes depending upon the angle from which it is viewed.
It’s undulating ribbons of recycled plastic catch the sun’s rays like cut crystal.
Color variations may occur due to the use of recycled materials. To ensure as much cohesion as possible, all desired units should be included in one order.
Regular dusting is advised. Please ensure that the plastic does not come into contact with acetone or other chemical cleaners. Kooij products are protected by a limited warranty. To read the full terms, please visit kooij.com/warranty.
