Every Meltingpot is one of a kind and has unique color composition created by our colourist. Every Meltingpot carries its own reference number, and is handcrafted in our workshop near Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. Meltingpot Round Dining Tables are not available for custom colorisation. Custom coloring is only available for Meltingpot Stadium Dining Tables that ranges from 9P-18P.

Each Meltingpot table goes through repeated sessions of sanding and wiping - revealing a smooth, vibrant surface beneath the layers.

Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) Under DDP, we handle the entire process including transport, customs clearance, duties, and import taxes, so the goods are delivered fully cleared to the agreed destination.
Packaging
All of our products are shipped in heavy-duty cardboard packaging with reinforced corner protection, designed to keep every piece safe in transit. For certain products, wooden crating is used.
Do you offer custom coloring?
Meltingot Round Dining Tables are not available for custom coloring. We offer custom coloring for Meltingpot Stadium Dining Tables which are longer than 240 cm in length (9P to a 18P). If you are interested in a made-to-order table, please email us at office@kooij.com with project details as well as the invoice and shipping address, and we will send you a quotation including shipping and import costs.
Will the table damage the floor?
Meltingpot tables are equipped with thick felt pads across the entire leg(s).
Is the table solid?
Pressed from studio prototypes and colour tests, the table tops are completely solid - with patterning enveloping the top, edges and underside of the table.
Are the materials used for this table sustainable?
Dirk van der Kooij uses design to break the waste cycle. By creating value and purpose for recycled plastic, he ensures that this problem material is preserved safely- and at scale. The studio is responsible for giving shape to over 40T of waste plastic a year.
